Custom Programs for School Groups

——————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Earth Mentorship Programs has worked with many different schools in the past to create powerful Outdoor Education experiences that meet the needs of your curriculum while expanding the minds and awareness of your students . We can put together programs for home school groups, private and public school classes, Waldorf and Montessori schools, Duke of Edinburgh, Christian school groups & more.

Richard Louv coined the term “Nature Deficit Disorder”, when he wrote his best selling book  “Last Child in the Woods”. We strongly believe in a direct link between many of the health and social issues found in today’s youth and the lack of time they spend exploring nature in a creative and healthy way. Our programs are designed to inspire students to be more aware of their surroundings and the role their day to day life plays in the eco-system they live in. We also help build self confidence and self resiliency through our application of ancient wilderness survival skills and naturalist education.

We can come to your school or run programs at one of the various outdoor education centers we are associated with.

For schools in the Muskoka, Lake of Bays & Perry Township areas, we are available for regular mentoring sessions.

To learn more about how we can work together to create the perfect outdoor education experience for your school please e-mail us or give us a call at: 705-788-1210
