Participants will have an active role in all preparation, packing and planning our trip into Algonquin Park. We will be learning about navigation, both with compass and maps, stars and aid less. We will walk through plant recognition, animal tracking, and the local ecology, flora and fauna. We will indulge in a night time paddle under the stars and wilderness crafts around the fire. The art and ceremony of harvesting and preparing wild teas will bring us closer and deeper into the understanding of living with the land. Daily yoga classes will give us the opportunity to tune into and explore our full range of motion, releasing tension as it arises as well as celebrating and working with our natural wake sleep cycle and circadian rhythms. This trip will provide many opportunities for learning, exploring, understanding and most of all deep peace and connection.
